Medicare Physical Therapy

We accept medicare and a prescription is needed from your physician. A new prescription is needed every thirty days.

With Medicare physical therapy coverage, there is an allowable cap determined every year for receiving outpatient physical therapy services. For the calendar year 2011, outpatient physical therapy services combined with speech language pathology services are capped at $1870 for the year.

To begin physical therapy, you will need a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy. After every thirty days while receiving physical therapy, you will then need a re-certification which is a signed document from your doctor stating that you will need to continue with physical therapy.
